Fantastically, bombastically protuberant Pamela Anderson rose from LaBatt's Beer spokes-hottie to Playboy's all-time hottest cover model to Tool Time Girl on the sitcom Home Improvement to being no less than the Ultimate Blonde Bombshell of the 1990s. Pam truly ballooned to superstar proportions on TV's Baywatch from 1992 to 1997. She also blew fans away in B-thrillers like Snapdragon (1993) and Raw Justice (1994) and at theaters in Barb Wire (1995). Back on the boob tube, Pam led a crack cadre of muffragettes on the syndicated action series V.I.P. and developed a short-lived cartoon titled Stripperella for the men's network Spike TV. Though she didn't strip for her 2005 Celebrity Roast on Comedy Central, she did open eyes—and flies—by showing up in a completely see-through shirt. Only libidinous legend Pam could cause a near-riot appearing fully clothed.
Barb Wire was Pam's bid for a big-screen career, but it's her home video, Pam & Tommy Lee: Stolen Honeymoon, that will ensure that Pam's on-camera work stands the test of time. The tape answers two questions: 1) Wouldn't it be great if Pam did porn? And 2) Wouldn't a woman as explosively sexual as Pam need a man hung like Mighty Joe Young to get off? The answer to both is a resounding, "Holy shit, yes!" On the video, Pam and her then-husband, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, act like two kids in love who are not the least bit self-conscious. It's almost as if they had no idea the tape would be stolen, launched on the Internet, and sold in record-breaking numbers—which they didn't know anything about at all. Of course.
